Harpoles New Flood Wardens!
Flood wardens are local volunteers who play a vital role in supporting their community before, during, and after a flood.
Published: 29 April 2026
Flood Wardens use their knowledge of the area and their community connections to support neighbours and act as an essential link to the Emergency Services during a flood.
Working closely with the Parish Council, and Flood Volunteers, our Flood Wardens are making a real difference in helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from flooding.
We are massively thankful to our two flood wardens who gave up their own time to complete Flood Warden training provided by WNC.
Mark Payne and Hannah Cooper are our Flood Wardens for Harpole Village.
