Planned Closure of Road Hill

National Grid are intending on carrying out works to alter the route of the electricity supply cabling between Nobottle Road and the entrance to Wood Farm.  To undertake this work safely will require that the road will be closed and it is expected that the works will commence on the 1st July 2024 and be in place until the 16^th August 2024.

The closure and diversion can be viewed here https://one.network/?tm=138505197  As you will appreciate the diversion is shown on the former Sandy Lane route and in reality will be using the new road configuration.

This is dependent on Sandy Lane being re-opened, so will get pushed back if this is not the case.
